Certificate of Good Standing

The Registrar of Companies issues this document.

For Corporations and LLC’s the following information is listed:

• Company Name
• Registration Number
• Authorized capital
• Confirmation that the company is up to date with all annual government fee payments

For Foundations the following information is listed:

• Name of the Foundation
• Registration number
• Authorized capital
• Registered Agent & Registered Office
• Confirmation that the Foundation is up to date with all annual government fee payments

A Certificate of Good Standing may be requested by a bank when opening a corporate account or when the company is older than one year. The Certificate of Good Standing can be apostilled for an additional fee. When the certificate is apostilled there is no need for further legalization by an embassy or consulate of a foreign country.
